“It's a doubleheader — which game does my ticket apply to?”
MLB's rulebook decides what happens to the game; it says nothing about wagers. What happens to a bet is set by each sportsbook's own house rules, and they genuinely differ from book to book. Check the house rules of the book where the wager was placed. Books define doubleheader attachment differently — by scheduled start time, by game number, or by the originally scheduled game — and makeups of postponed games add another wrinkle.
MLB doubleheaders are two full nine-inning games (the seven-inning format ended after 2021). Which of the two games a pregame position attaches to — Game 1, Game 2, or 'the scheduled game' — is defined by each book, not by the rulebook.
