Postponed game

MLB's rulebook decides what happens to the game; it says nothing about wagers. What happens to a bet is set by each sportsbook's own house rules, and they genuinely differ from book to book. Check the house rules of the book where the wager was placed. Books typically void pregame markets when a game is postponed beyond a set window, but the window and the treatment of doubleheader makeups are per-book.

A postponed game never began, so the rulebook has little to say — this is a scheduling matter. The game is typically made up later, sometimes as part of a doubleheader.

• How long after the scheduled start can the game begin (or be made up) before wagers are voided?
• If the makeup is part of a doubleheader on a later date, do original wagers carry or void?
