Replay review
Managers get one challenge per game — kept if the call is overturned — and the crew chief can initiate reviews late in games and on boundary home runs any time. Only defined play types are reviewable; judgment calls like balls and strikes are untouchable.
- One challenge per manager per game; a successful challenge is retained for another use.
- From the eighth inning on (and always for home run boundary calls), the crew chief may review without a challenge.
- Reviewable: safe/out, fair/foul at the boundary, catch/trap, home run calls, hit-by-pitch contact, and more per the Replay Regulations.
- Not reviewable: balls and strikes, check swings, balks, infield fly declarations, and most pure judgment calls.
- The standard is definitive video evidence — 'call stands' means the video could not decide it; 'confirmed' means it agreed.
