Rangers Re-Sign Veneziano to MiLB Deal After KBO Stint
Texas adds a familiar depth arm back to the organization after Veneziano posted a 6.10 ERA in 16 KBO starts before being released.
The Rangers and left-hander Anthony Veneziano have agreed to a minor league contract, with Veneziano assigned to Triple-A Round Rock. Texas originally signed him in December before he left to pitch for the SSG Landers in the KBO, where he struggled to a 6.10 ERA over 79.2 innings. The Landers released him earlier this month. The Rangers rotation depth beyond their top five starters is thin, making Veneziano a low-cost insurance option.
