Rangers Nearing Deal With RHP Chris Paddack
Texas is close to signing veteran starter Chris Paddack to a major league contract, pending a physical, per a Dallas Morning News beat reporter.
The Rangers and right-hander Chris Paddack are on the verge of completing a major league contract, according to beat reporter Shawn McFarland. The deal is contingent on Paddack passing a physical. Paddack was designated for assignment by Cincinnati last week after also being released by Miami earlier this season. He has posted a 6.96 ERA across 53 innings in 2025, his worst mark as a professional.
