The Blue Jays officially released infielder Lenyn Sosa, per The Athletic's Mitch Bannon. Sosa had been at Triple-A Buffalo since being outrighted in mid-August after posting a .188/.205/.275 line in 84 plate appearances with Toronto. A right wrist contusion landed him on the 10-day IL in late May, later transferred to the 60-day IL. Combined across Chicago and Toronto this season, Sosa batted .195/.207/.283 with a 31 wRC+ in 117 PA.
