Jameson Taillon went on the IL last week with elbow inflammation and has now stated definitively he will not pitch again in 2026. He is scheduled to consult with Dr. Keith Meister for an additional opinion. Taillon has a significant UCL history, having undergone Tommy John surgery twice (2014 and 2019). He acknowledged briefly fearing his career might be over after feeling discomfort mid-start, though he says he is now committed to forming a recovery plan.
