The 30-year-old utility player clears waivers unclaimed and returns to Round Rock, where he has posted solid Triple-A numbers in 2025.
Texas designated Jonah Bride for assignment and he went unclaimed, resulting in an outright assignment to Triple-A Round Rock. Bride appeared in just two MLB games for the Rangers, going 1-for-5 with a walk. At Round Rock this season he has been productive, slashing .282/.401/.425 with 10 home runs across 431 plate appearances. Because he has been outrighted previously, Bride has the right to reject the assignment and elect free agency instead.
